Where each one wins

Choose Feega if

— you animate designs, not footage: UI, type, social and product motion

— your team edits together in real time in the browser

— you want open source and no subscription to run it locally

— you generate images, video and audio with AI next to the animation

Choose After Effects instead if

— you need 3D, VFX, keying, tracking or advanced compositing

— you rely on After Effects plugins and expressions

— you deliver broadcast or film work — Feega’s motion is not After Effects-level

Switching from After Effects

There is no project import from After Effects. If you export an animation to Lottie, you can import that file into Feega and keep editing it.

For new work, paste frames from Figma into Feega and animate them on the timeline.
