Refund Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains when you can get your money back for a feega purchase, and why. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. The short version
  • You can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying a plan or a top-up, as long as you have used no more than 10% of the credits that purchase gave you, and never more than 5 credits.

  • We refund the amount you paid minus the value of the credits you used (1 credit = €1) minus the payment processing fee charged on that payment. Payment processing fees are not refunded.

  • Once you have used more than that, the purchase is no longer refundable, even within 14 days.

  • A monthly renewal is refundable only if you cancel within 48 hours of being charged and have used no credits from it.

  • Welcome credits and other free credits are never refundable.

2. Why there is a usage limit

Every credit you spend pays for real work done for you by third-party AI providers — generating text, images, video or audio, and checking content for safety — and we pay them at the moment you use the credit. We cannot get that money back. Refunding a purchase whose credits were largely spent would mean paying twice for work already delivered.

The limit is therefore the lower of two numbers: 10% of the credits the purchase granted, and 5 credits. On small plans the 10% applies; on large plans the 5-credit cap applies:

  • €8 purchase (8 credits): up to 0.8 credits

  • €16 purchase (16 credits): up to 1.6 credits

  • €32 purchase (32 credits): up to 3.2 credits

  • €64 purchase (64 credits): up to 5 credits

  • €128 purchase (128 credits): up to 5 credits

  • €256 purchase (256 credits): up to 5 credits

This lets you try the Service after buying without losing your right to change your mind, and keeps the cost of AI work already done with the person who asked for it.

3. What this policy covers
  • Monthly subscriptions: €8, €16, €32, €64, €128 or €256 per month, each granting the same number of credits as its price.

  • One-off credit top-ups, at the same rate.

  • It does not cover welcome credits, promotional credits or credits granted as compensation: they are free, so there is nothing to refund.

4. Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the law gives you 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract (Directive 2011/83/EU; in Italy, articles 52 and following of the Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005).

Credits are digital content and access to a digital service supplied immediately. At checkout you expressly ask us to start supplying them immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal to the extent you use the credits (Directive 2011/83/EU, article 16(m) and article 14(3); Italian Consumer Code, article 59(1)(o) and article 57). You give this acknowledgment by ticking the box next to our Terms and this policy on the Stripe payment page, before you pay.

In practice:

  • Within 14 days and within the usage limit in §2: you can withdraw. We refund the amount paid minus the value of the credits you used and minus the payment processing fee.

  • Above the usage limit: the purchase has been performed to the extent you asked us to, and it is no longer refundable.

  • After 14 days: the withdrawal period has ended.

The 14 days run from the day of the first purchase of a plan, or from the day of each top-up.

5. How the refund is calculated

refund = amount paid − credits used from that purchase × €1 − payment processing fee

Example: you buy the €32 plan, use 2 credits and the payment processing fee on that payment was €0.70. You are within the limit (3.2 credits), so the refund is €32 − €2 − €0.70 = €29.30. Had you used 4 credits, the purchase would no longer be refundable.

Which credits count as used from a purchase. Your balance is spent in a fixed order: credits that expire soonest first (welcome credits, then subscription credits in the order they expire), and top-up credits, which never expire, last, oldest first. The credits used from a purchase are those that this order took from it. The billing page shows, for your latest purchase, the date until which a refund is available, how many credits you can use and still get it, and the amount you would receive today.

The payment processing fee is the fee our payment processor (Stripe) charged us for that payment. Stripe does not return it when a payment is refunded, so we cannot either.

6. Monthly renewals
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.

  • A renewal is not refundable once it has been charged, with one exception: if you cancel within 48 hours of the renewal and have used no credits granted by it, we refund that renewal in full, minus the payment processing fee.

  • The 14-day right in §4 applies to the first purchase of a plan, not to each renewal of it.

7. Cancelling
  • Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not by itself refund the current period.

  • The credits of the period you already paid for stay usable until the end of that period, then expire as described in the Terms.

  • We do not refund part of a month (no pro-rata refunds).

8. Changing plan
  • Upgrades take effect immediately. Stripe charges the difference for the rest of the current period (proration).

  • Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. The current period is not refunded, in full or in part.

9. What happens to credits
  • Subscription credits expire at the end of the billing period they were granted for.

  • Top-up credits never expire.

  • When your account is closed, unused top-up credits are refunded at face value (1 credit = €1, minus the payment processing fee) only if that top-up is still refundable under §2 and §4. Otherwise they are forfeited. Unused subscription credits lapse with their period.

  • Credits have no cash value outside this policy and cannot be transferred or resold.

10. When something goes wrong on our side
  • An image, video or audio generation that fails, or that our moderation blocks before it runs, is not charged.

  • If you were charged by mistake (for example twice for the same action), we restore the credits — automatically when we detect it, or when you ask.

  • If the Service is unavailable for a significant period because of a fault on our side, we compensate with credits in proportion to the time lost. Compensation is given in credits, not in cash.

  • None of this limits your statutory rights if the Service is not in conformity with the contract.

11. Chargebacks and abuse
  • If you open a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, we suspend your account until the dispute is resolved. Please write to us first: most issues are solved faster that way.

  • We may refuse a refund where there is a clear pattern of abuse — for example repeatedly buying, using credits up to the limit and asking for a refund. This never affects a refund the law requires us to give.

12. How to ask for a refund
  1. Open Settings → Billing in the app. It shows whether your latest purchase is refundable, until when, and for how much.

  2. Use Request a refund there, or write to hello@feega.app from the email of your account, within the period in §4 or §6. Tell us which purchase (the date or the Stripe receipt is enough).

  3. We answer within 5 business days.

  4. Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank normally shows them within 5–10 business days.

Invoices and receipts are available from Settings → Billing → Invoices.

13. Business customers

If you buy for a business, trade or profession, you are not a consumer and the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to you. As a courtesy, we apply the same rules anyway: 14 days, the same usage limit, the same calculation.

14. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force when you made a purchase applies to that purchase. We announce material changes as described in the Terms.
